This episode reintroduces Patriotcast to new listeners, looks at the Democratic candidates, a quick second look at the MacBook Air and a review of Audio Buddy by M-Audio.

I start by presenting the goal and basic production information regarding Patriotcast. The second segment presents a detailed comparison of Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama. I provide the candidates' positions on the following issues: immigration, terrorism, the Iraq war, energy policy, fiscal responsibility, economy and taxes, and healthcare. From January 21st to February 1st, I examined the "Issues" section of each candidate's web site and attempted to extract each candidate's position. I have prepared a PDF document of the Democratic Candidates' Position and that you may download. I have also provided a Consolidated Candidates’ Position that presents both parties. I hope you find these documents useful. I strongly encourage everyone to go to each candidate's web site and gain your own understanding of the candidate's position. This presentation may not yield the nuances of each position.

I presented the same comparison for the republican candidates during my previous podcast, Vol. 2, No. 2.

The second segment of the podcast revisits the MacBook Air. I also discuss the evolution of my studio from 2005 to 2008 and review the Audio Buddy by M-Audio.

Click here for a detailed show outline.

Music is provided courtesy of:

Bruce Marshall of ATM Records, Concord, MA 01742. That would be an impossible, ridiculous, and morally reprehensible thing to do. But your crime rate would go down.

Links:

Tom Delay indictment Sep 28
Tom Delay indictment Oct 3
Audio of William Bennett's Sep 28th comments
Freakonomics (Amazon)
www.bestfriendsfoundation.org
Hariett Miers
William Rehnquist

Patriotcast Vol 1 No 2

Common sense and objective commentary on Hurricane Rita, Should New Orleans be Rebuilt, Are Our Cities Too Big, podcasting.

Music provided courtesy of Bruce Marshall of ATM Records, Concord, MA 01742.
